Job Summary: MIG Welder
Major Responsibilities: These welding positions are within a manufacturing company.
Safety shoes and safety glasses worn at all times. Uniforms supplied.
There will be a refresher and training day for all safety requirements and crane usage.
Turn and press knobs and buttons or enter operating instructions into computers to adjust and start welding machines
Set up, operate, and tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies
Load or feed work pieces into welding machines to join or bond components
Correct problems by adjusting controls or by stopping machines and opening holding devices.
Inspect, measure, or test completed metal work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using measuring and testing devices
Read blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications
Education/Experience/Licenses etc.: Required Skills / Qualifications:

High School Diploma
Minimum of 2 years of experience in related field
Minimum of 2 years of Mig welding experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Sub-Arc welding experience a plus.
Any Machining experience a plus.
Manager's Comments: Must have steel toe shoes
