QA Assembly Inspector

Job Summary: Assembly Inspector
Major Responsibilities: The QA Inspector will be perform inspection of received materials, material fabricated in-house or finished assemblies.
Also, will validate conformance to specifications, engineering drawings, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Surface plate inspection and associated inspection tools.
Final inspection for manufactured assemblies and/or modules.
In process inspection for machined parts, sheet metal parts, or weld assemblies.
Inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies and cable & harness assemblies.
Software applications associated with material handling, analysis, and reporting associated with quality control activities.
Education/Experience/Licenses etc.: Note: No AC in workspace.
Required Skills / Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 4 years of experience performing inspection in a manufacturing environment
Minimum of 4 years of knowledge of GD & T symbols (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and rules
Minimum of 3 years of experience using Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and associated software

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Requires good communication skills (written and verbal)
Capability to provide dependable information when describing nonconformances, manufacturing problems, and drawing problems.
Ability to keep a positive disposition while communicating information to suppliers and customers
Ability to follow work instructions and procedures
