1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Provides and delivers nursing care to ICU/CCU patients. Utilizing the Nursing Process, the Registered
Nurse will coordinate total patient centered-care both meeting the physical, age specific, social and mental
status, cultural and spiritual needs of the patients, and ensuring optimal care and service in accordance
with physician orders, The Joint Commission, OSHA, nursing and department guidelines. The Registered
Nurse fulfills these duties to ensure continuity and quality of care, which fosters all patients and their
families' best interest and well-being.

2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Cerner Charting, Pyxis medication system

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
ICU/CCU 2 years experience.

4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
WV license, BLS, ACLS

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?
Every other weekend(Fri/Sat/Sun)

6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
Floating between ICU and CCU Critical Care, occasionally stepdown, observation,

CCU: 10 beds
