Summary of key responsibilities

Attend to incident tickets; Resolve or Escalate as necessary
Attend to hotline calls; Resolve or Escalate as necessary
Resolve IT requests
Support Disaster Recovery activities
Perform Disaster Recovery Testing
Manage TCP/IP profile datasets
Support File Transfer, Print software and other network related software, ability to perform and analyse Traces.


Technical requirements

Extensive experience in Mainframe TCP/IP admin and SNA/VTAM support
SMPE - Installation, customization and maintenance of CONNECT DIRECT, CA NETMASTER ,TPX and Mainframe Communication Services in ZOS Manual
TCPIP profile activation(obey command)
Perform Network recycling
Support Certificates
Conduct network sizing
Capture network trace and analysis the same, for network outage
Change and Fix on OSA Configuration
Perform network related storage replication setup across sites
Perform Network related SSMF Support Activities
Support File Transfer Products/Protocols Connect:Direct, SFTP, FTPS, Inter-Pel
Support LRS printing products VPS, DRS, VMCF
Provide Host On-Demand Support
Support Base network products Communications Server (VTAM/TCP/IP)
Troubleshoot connectivity issues TCP/IP, APPN, Enterprise Extender, SNA, X.25
Support Session Manager products (Teleview, TPX, CL/Supersession)
