Military Analyst

The Excalibur Group is currently seeking Military Analysts with a DOD background to support a government contract at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Helps influence and set strategic architectural direction for the company. Work with business and IT owners to help define, develop and maintain alignment of strategic and tactical programs and plans.
  • Provides ongoing support and leadership in resolving risks and issues related to the architecture throughout execution.
  • Works with business unit and technical resources to cultivate appropriate solution required to meet business goals.
  • Collaborates with IT peers in business relationship management, solution architecture, development, project management, application development, business intelligence, and infrastructure.
  • Stays current with areas of Department of the Army and technology industry trends and emerging architectures and recommend the best recommendation.
  • Coordinates with senior level staff and customers to develop, integrate and make changes to designs.
  • Verifies and validate designs.
  • Serves as first level of QA/QC, of architecture.
  • Keeps senior level staff informed of significant actions/projects/activities.
  • Provides architecture development support to the Production Branch.
  • Contributes to or develops for multiple architectures for the Department of Army.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor degree in engineering or other related (construction or engineering).
  • Must have a final Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), and the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) process.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors.
  • Positive attitude and driven to succeed.

PAY RATE
$80-90,000 Annually

Mon. – Fri. 8:30am – 5pm
