QC Assembly Inspector

  • Interpretation of blueprints / engineering drawings and CAD drawings
  • Measure dimensions to ensure conformance to specifications,
  • Inspection of Assembled Components
  • Assembly & Functional Testing ( FT )
  • Product Assembly & Functional Test Verification
  • Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
  • Setup required mechanical gages for dimensional inspection activities.
  • Write Nonconformance Reports
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records in compliance with established procedures
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Performs all other functions as required by his supervisor
SUMMARY OF KEY REQUIREMENTS Minimum Required Preferred Requirements
Academic/Education Qualifications High School Education
A minimum of five (5) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic Math and Trigonometry
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
Contractual Requirements if any    
Other Certifications / Affiliations   Quality control Certification
Certification in NDE Level II (Liquid Penetrant / Magnetic Particle)
Experience - A minimum of five (5) years with Previous quality control experience in a manufacturing environment - preferably with Oil & Gas.
NDE Experience (Ex. LP,MPI)
Use of dial Caliper,
Blue Print / Drawing Interpretation, Specification.
System Unit's Conversion/ Interpretation, ,
Use of Dial Indicators,
Use of Depth Micrometer,
Use of Standard Thread Gage's,
Use of Brinell/ Rockwell Hardness Testers
Use of Outside/Inside Diameter Micrometer
Use of Pressure Gages
Use of Chart Recorder
Utilization & Control of Test Fixtures
Use of Bore Scope
API Monogram Application
3rd Party / Customer Inspection Notification Procedure
Use of Microsoft Excell
Flushing & Sampling of Hydraulic Control Fluid
