Primary Responsibilities:
  • Participate in shaping solutions to fit business data object objectives across application data domains in the capacity of a business systems analyst.
  • Consult with IT and business clients to understand and assess business process
  • Actively participate in optimizing and streamline business process and technology solutions.
  • Identify gaps between current and future state business processes and prioritize opportunities to improve processes.
  • Lead and facilitate IT and business user meetings to gather process information.
  • Document the flow of information through our systems.
  • Development Business Requirements Documents and drive to approval by stakeholders
  • Perform required data mapping of from source systems to Canonical form.
  • Identify, analyze and document system requirements (functional and non-functional).
  • Identify requirements and contribute to end user training materials and procedures when required.
Required Qualifications
  • 4-year degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience.
  • 3+ years acting as a business systems analyst
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
  • Experience in the Health Care and/or insurance industry is required.
  • Significant experience with data analysis is required. Demonstrated hands-on knowledge of SQL against any RDMS – Oracle is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office is a requirement.
  • Strong technical skills in analyzing functional business processes, process modeling, business modeling tools, developing system solutions and documentation standards.
  • Strong written and verbal collaboration skills are required.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to follow through to resolve issues.
  • Ability to understand client expectations and recognize and resolve issues that may affect delivery.
  • Must be willing to work in the downtown Los Angeles California area

  • Ability to share knowledge and coach and train others.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and resolve technical issues within the broader project team.
  • Understanding of message oriented data integration technologies and tools.
  • Commitment to professional growth and desire to expand into new roles as required.
