 Experienced Workday Business Analyst with extensive experience in Workday Core HR, Workday Recruiting, Workday Time & Absence, Compensation, and Benefits. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments and is experienced in managing complex projects in support of an overall HR philosophy and strategy. 


Work effectively with the Workday application team in IT to identify, document, and prioritize requirements from Employee Success and Payroll 
Write functional specifications for new functionality and make system changes on HR applications 
Ensure solutions promote simplification, accuracy, and an increasingly higher level of productivity for users 
Provide functional support during technology upgrades/implementations and work successfully as a liaison with Employee Success, Payroll, IT, and other partners 
Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and execute testing in support of system and user acceptance testing 
Test new/modified applications to ensure applications and results meet end-users needs 
Support the implementation of change management activities by organizing UAT, authoring communications, creating training materials, and delivering appropriate training 
Provide HR systems documentation to broader team for support activities (data feed documentation, etc.) 
Partner with the support organization to provide training, support and technical assistance to end users 
Assist in managing daily transaction activity in HRMS, support HR interfaces/integrations and ensure data integrity between systems. 
Participate in Agile scrum team, responsible as business analyst and central subject matter expert 
Data analysis and trending of support queue as well as identifying core HR data discrepancies for resolution 
Support SOX compliance efforts 

Required Skills 

Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years as an HR Business Systems Analyst or similar function 
4+ years of Workday systems experience 
Expert knowledge in business process analysis, requirements and design, data modeling, detailed functional design, test planning, and UAT execution with an emphasis in the Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Core HR functional areas 
Implementation and support experience with global HR systems from gathering and documenting complex business requirements through testing and production rollout 
Excellent change management leadership skills including communication, testing, training and business system and process transformation 
Proven ability to coordinate a diverse set of business users to develop cohesive and streamlined requirements, documentation and user acceptance criteria 
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines 
Confidence and interpersonal skills to achieve effective working relationships at all levels 
Strong influencing and negotiation skills 
Willing to receive direction and guidance within a team environment, adopt and develop best practices and circumnavigate obstacles with creative technical solutions 
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences

Desired Skills/Experience: 

Workday Certifications preferred 
Configuration, implementation and support experience with Workday (HCM, Recruiting, Time & Absence, Compensation, Benefits) 
Experience preparing and guiding business partners through UAT testing 
Experience with Use Case modeling and AGILE development methodology, Kanban 
Experience with the platform and related cloud or web based technologies
