SHORT DESCRIPTION: Responsible for creating intuitive user interface designs for mobile applications, web applications and websites on a shared service design team for the State of Michigan.

COMPLETE DESCRIPTION: System Analyst responsible for working with project managers, developers and business owners to understand business goals, generate user insights, and translate business and user needs into highly engaging digital experiences. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties may include:
  • Communicate design standards that embody organizations values.
  • Create navigation flows, mockups, and prototypes using established design patterns to build digital experiences.
  • Deliver projects and project components on time and on budget.
  • Document and communicate work to teammates and development partners
  • Keep abreast of usability best practices and guidelines and use these skills to suggest improvements to existing applications and designs.
