Job Description DXEMP -– Technology Lead - US – J2EE / Webservices/Springboot

In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Location for this position is Minneapolis, MN/Owing Mills, MD/Cary, NC/San Francisco, CA/Norfolk, VA/Newark, CA/Nashville, TN/Phoenix, AZ. This position may require relocation and or travel.

Qualifications Basic
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.

• 3+ years' experience in Java / J2EE technology stack
• Well versed with SDLC concepts
• Expertise in JAVA/J2EE programming language utilizing Spring framework.
• Core Java skills such as OOPS concepts, Exception handling, Collections, Multi-threading
• Deep understanding in implementing Micro services and message-based loosely coupled architectures
• Extensive knowledge in developing RESTful APIs using Spring MVC, Integration patterns, Sprint Boot and JSON
• Exposure to Unit testing framework like TestNG, JUnit.
• Experience in writing unit tests and using standard Web testing frameworks
• Working with cross functional teams like Business Management, Architects, operations and QA
• Strong programming & problem-solving skills
• Ability to think from a business perspective
• Good team player and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong functional programming; engineering; problem solving/Analytical skills
• Good communication skills and self-learner & self-driven. Individual contributor, self-motivator and adaptive to new frameworks.
• Experience working with offshore/onshore resources
• Experience in working in Agile methodologies and continuous integration
• Domain knowledge of Brokerage/Banking/Financial Services
 
Preferred Skills
• Strong experience with SQL databases (procedures, triggers, etc.)
• Exposure in any Actor based framework like AKKA
• Exposure to working in a cloud/distributed environment
• Exposure to container tools like Docker
• Hibernate/ORM concepts
• Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology
• Good DevOps skills able to get hands dirty on Linux, AWS, Docker, CI pipelines, etc.
• Experience with influxDB, Redis, ELK (Elastic Search/Log Stash/ Kibana)


The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
