Cloud Deployment Automation Engineer / DevOps Engineer

- Create automation for hosted applications to deploy to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This includes the solutions for monitoring and support required to provision complex, high-availability applications. It requires script development using industry-standard tools of Linux, AWS, and Puppet.
- Architect systems with automation for security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop and use strategies for versioning of scripts, code, and automation
-Function as liaison with vendors and development groups to highlight security, architecture and operational perspectives to the SDLC, and provide deliverables on schedule.
- Support internal customers, external customers, corporate IT, and vendor IT at superior levels of consultation and follow-up. This includes supporting upgrades and resolution of production problems in a timely manner for operational systems.
- Collaborate with developers, vendors, and professional organizations to plan Linux automation approaches for implementing new systems and services.

"- Bachelor's Degree (Information Technology or related is preferred but not required) or 2+ years relevant and equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years experience deploying and supporting monitoring solutions in co-located facilities, managed virtual, and in public and private clouds.
- Minimum 5+ years experience supporting Linux based applications in hosted environments.
- Minimum 5+ years experience supporting Linux operating systems and solutions using automation.
- Appropriate Bachelor's plus Master's Degree can substitute for 5-year requirements"

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or a Graduate technical degree
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
Experience with deployment, maintenance, debug and troubleshooting using 
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Puppet or similar tools
- virtual machine environments in cloud systems
Advanced Experience with 
- Linux Server administration
- CentOS and Redhat Linux
- Linux systems that run MySQL
- scripting or programming

Experience with automation related to
- testing (Nunit/MSTest/Selenium)
- setup and maintenance of Linux servers and services, including networking, credentialing, high availability, and load balancing solutions
- common development and system administration tools as Wireshark, Fiddler, Sysinternals, SQL Tracing, etc. 
  • Experience with data formats like XML, XSL, JSON, REST APIs
  • Experience with load balancing, proxies, certificate management, networking and autoscaling
  • Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery methods for complex applications deployed in multiple regions.
  • Knowledge of all standard system administrator functions such as server build outs, monitoring, patch/security updates (including Microsoft), antivirus, backups, restores, asset management, 24X7 support, pager duty, etc.

  • Experience in the healthcare field is advantageous but not required
