Role  Developer - Power Supply Design
Mandatory Technical Skills  Bachelor / Masters in Engineering from reputed institute with Design, development and testing experience in Power Supply and its associated circuits and building blocks to be used in cellular base station transceivers
Duties & Responsibilities ·        Design and development of AC power supply used in cellular base station transceivers products.
·        Design and development of non-isolated switching DC/DC converters: Buck, Boost
·        Responsible for suitable lab test setups and supporting test scripts/automation (Python, etc.)
·        Responsible for testing/troubleshooting/repair of power supply circuits using multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.
·        Responsible for Component level measurements and performance comparison. (Qualifying second source components.)
·        Responsible to review PCB layout designs independently, using Expedition (Mentor Graphics)
·        Ability to create simulation models (LTSpice, etc.)
·        Fluent use of Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Desirable Functional Skills ·        Understanding of AC power supply design (Full Wave Rectifiers, Power Factor Correction, EMI Filter, or LLC Supply) would be a bonus
·        Understanding of basic control methods: Voltage mode, Current mode, etc used in power supply design
·        Experience on analog and digital PWM controllers
·        Experience on hot swap power supply and load switch controllers/devices
·        Understand conducted/radiated EMI requirements
·        Understand surge protection requirements and protection circuits
