Minimum 2 years' experience with Oracle database programming in real world (full time) project]
Technical/Functional Skills ·        JAVA – strong core JAVA and some advanced JAVA
a.       Core Java with strong knowledge in Collections, JDBC, Multithreading and awareness of JDK 1.5 and 1.7 concepts
·         Oracle Database – schema and query design, stored procedures, functions, packages, performance tuning
a.       Experience in SQL queries for backend database testing on T/SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle server
·        Web Services – REST API, JSON format, etc.
Experience Required ·        OCJP/OCWCD certification will be added advantage
·        Well versed with SDLC and methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM and Waterfall
·        Ability to quickly troubleshoot, debug and identify root cause of issues or customer queries
·        Ability to effectively communicate with cross functional groups
·        Flexibility in working early morning to coordinate with India development team
·        Open to learn new technologies like Oracle forms and reports to help troubleshoot issues quicker in current production
·        Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills
·        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as much as possible
Roles & Responsibilities ·        Perform technical analysis/design work when necessary.
·        Perform unit testing on code and assist with system and UAT testing.
·        Lead code reviews.
·        Investigate technical issues when required.
·        Respond and provide support for production issues reported to the Customer
·        Assist in the preparation of documentation where necessary for new or changed business, operational, or support procedures.
·        Participate in analysis and planning of development activities.
·        Ensure that requirements are clearly understood by team members prior to design and development effort being engaged.
·        Technically assess all development efforts in terms of skill requirements and resource availability; recommend delivery times.
·        Stay informed on emerging technologies and transfer knowledge to the team members.
