The Systems Analyst must be able to support the entire project lifecycle, acting as Project Manager, Business Analyst of the Remedy application. Duties include: reviewing, analyzing, forecasting, and evaluating business functions, operations, processes, and information to develop or modify databases, data models, application systems, analytical tools, or reports in support of business objectives. Establish and maintain effective working relationships to gather key information required to understand, plan for, and accomplish business objectives. The Systems Analyst should understand and perform technical functions to configure and maintain reliable, accurate, and performance application systems. The Systems Analyst is a bridge between business functions and technical systems development.
 •Analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain custom Remedy configurations and architecture.
•Troubleshoot and participate in resolving Remedy user access issues.
•Work with DBA and System Administrators as needed.
•Create reports that will be used to keep stakeholders informed of all conditions present within the environment.
•Work within business guidelines for operational change and problem management procedures.
•Work with stakeholders to document requirements for enhancing end user experience within the tool and bringing these requirements to completion.
•Gather information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements. Prepares time estimates and justifications for assigned tasks and provides recommendations to project managers.
•Utilizing good communication skills, work with IT personnel to build Application and Business Service models in the CMDB.
•Continuously review the state of CMDB, analyzing configuration item data, configuration item relationships, identify data inconsistencies or anomalies, and report on manage data discrepancies.
•Identify new CI's and new CI relationships using automated tools or well defined processes.
•Experience with the BMC Remedy Web Services and Rest API functionality, ability to create new web services and API's when called upon.
•Ability to create advanced Services within the BMC Remedy Service Request Management 9.x Application.
•Design and develop reports within Business Objects and Smart Reporting.
•Create complex Service Level Agreements and Targets to assist the customer in creating meaningful metrics to help improve customer service in all areas that use BMC Remedy Applications.
•Ability to create advanced Services within the BMC Remedy Service Request Management 9.x Application.
•Experience implementing BMC Digital Workplace and Smart IT.
 
Qualifications
•Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology Field or 5 + years of experience within Information Technology.
•2 + years working with BMC Remedy required.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•ITIL v2/3 Foundations Certified
