 The qualified candidate will possess Cisco CCNP or greater certification or equivalent experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree or five years' experience in network support positions.
The role of the Network Administrator-Level II is to take responsibility for all aspects of implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades and security of the Client's network infrastructure focusing on mission critical systems. 
Responsibilities for this Position Include:
Oversee assignments, coordinate work and provide for support to Network Administrator-Level I on network issues and also provides delivery of support to the Service Desk in regard to associate support requests.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on the enterprise network infrastructure.
Provide for the design of voice, security, network (routing and switching), and wireless infrastructure.
Facilitate in the installation and configuration of voice, security, network (routing and switching), and wireless infrastructure.
Provide for project management of Network related projects.
Maintain and enhance performance of all voice, security, network (routing and switching), and wireless infrastructure across the organization.
Collaborate with departmental stakeholders, under the direction of the IT Infrastructure Manager or his/her designee, to determine business needs for network solutions.
Participate in the evaluation of new and emerging technologies as they relate to wired and wireless network infrastructure and assist in the demonstration of their applicability to the enterprise.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
MINIMUM
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree or five years' experience in network support positions.
Completed training or studied the concepts of assisting users in defining business needs.
Completed training in the use of the wired and wireless network infrastructure systems that will be supported.
Five years' experience in an IT department supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure and security systems.
TARGET
Bachelor's degree in computer science with major course work in Information Systems, or Computer Science.
Cisco CCNP or greater certification or equivalent experience
Documented experience of assisting users with defining business needs.
Documented experience in the support of the mission critical systems that will be supported.
5 years' experience in the mission critical support of wired and wireless network infrastructure and security systems.
