Detailed Job Description:

Skilled ITIL process consultant Subcon services are required

Principal Responsibilities
• Assist with the planning, strategy, and implementation of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices
• Analyze IT governance structures, and identify recommendations for enhancements based on ITSM best practices
• Provide subject matter expertise, act as ITIL process advocate to design, develop and implement ITIL processes with the platform of customers choice
• Perform / Participate as a team member in ITSM assessment studies, including ITIL, COBIT, and ISO 20000 to evaluate and improve existing practices and identify key operational measurements to use for process improvements
• Facilitate client workshops and conduct interviews to drive stakeholder consensus on requirements and solutions
• To identify process improvement areas and drive CSI projects
• Conduct process trainings
• Pro-actively manage risks, and stakeholder expectations
• Understand ITSM tools like ServiceNow/Remedy and work with the corresponding development teams to support the ITSM implementation program

Process Management and Project Coordination
• Assist and contribute in development of project plans and milestones
• Perform as a team member or team lead as necessary to instruct, assign, review the work of other team members
• Reports status to management as necessary
• Mentors and coaches other team members, facilitates individual team member development of technical, functional, and industry skills
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and work without much supervision
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years overall experience in implementing ITIL, Enterprise Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management; At least 3 years of experience with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy or other ITSM tools as an advanced user
• Knowledge of the ITIL v3 service life cycle and ITSM best practices
• Practical experience with agile methodologies/tools, ITIL process implementation, Driving/working part of CSI projects
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to describe solutions with a business focus
• Experience with leading a geographically separated customers and onshore/offshore teams
• Interacts cross functionally on matters that require coordination across organization and collaborates well with other groups, voluntarily shares information
• Flexibility to travel
Education, Training or Certification

• BS or Equivalent Experience in Computer Science / Information System Management
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification required

Certifications Preferred:

• ITIL v3 Intermediate certificate
• Knowledge of COBIT, ISO 2000, or CMMI
• Knowledge of technology metrics, scorecard implementation, and project management best practices
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Administration certificate on any ITSM tools like ServiceNow
