Experience  
  • 10+ years of experience in the software development field, with demonstrated performance working with customers, leading the delivery of product and solution offerings
  • 5+ years project delivery experience or management of large projects or program specific to Digital technologies like Portals, Mobility, Data Analytics, Digital Commerce and Digital Marketing
  • Exposure to COTS products in digital area, exposure to cloud, build automation
  • Exposure to multi county, multi-site launch and integration with enterprise backend systems
  • Good understanding of RDBMS concepts
  • Proven experience in managing teams delivering IT implementations and involving multiple software application integrators. Minimum Team size of 25+.
  • Proven track record of completing quality projects on time, as well as a proven track record in coaching and mentoring others to success
  • Good understanding of and experience with off-shore software development model.
  • Good understanding of development processes (agile and other latest methodologies), quality and testing best practices.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in team building and mentoring
  • Business domain knowledge like BFSI, Client, Travel & Hospitality, Retail, etc. will be beneficial
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the implementation and delivery of software to Mindtree customers worldwide
  • Own the overall accountability, for the end-to-end delivery of projects
  • Ensure the timely, high-quality and cost-effective delivery of projects
  • Co-ordinate through the development managers all delivery activities and acts as the escalation point for all development issues specific to projects
  • Perform project reviews on a consistent basis to ensure project delivery is on time and on budget.
  • Co-ordinate with the development teams and vendors to ensure the right teams are working on the right build components at the right time, with clear expectations of milestones and goals
  • Work with Account Managers to drive growth, quality and customer satisfaction
  • Work with Account Managers on forecasting of people and work
  • Interact with the Account Management teams to make sure onsite / offshore communications are optimized
  • Represent Mindtree to the customers at business reviews, and other critical meetings, for the overall delivery aspects and quality of delivery
  • Participate, as required, in steering committee meetings, senior executive meetings and other such events
  • Participate in recruitment activities
  • Maintain high visibility into issues affecting employee satisfaction and happiness, while ensuring strategies are in place for highest levels of retention
  • Provide leadership to, develop and maintain an effective team through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination and review of all personnel
