Position: Privacy Program Manager

We're looking for a strong, self-directed experienced privacy SME to help us. The successful candidate will be an experienced Privacy subject matter expert with a passion for user trust who is willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities including; highly technical privacy reviews, developing or improving tools and processes to ensure compliance, driving program improvements to support new requirements (e.g. GDPR) and supporting privacy training and awareness programs. You'll also need the technical acumen to engage directly with development and research teams in identifying and assessing privacy risk and recommend privacy by design implementation guidance.
Job Description Summary:
· Partner with research teams as a subject matter expert during design/planning stages to help ensure privacy by design practices
· Conduct technical deep-dive privacy impact assessments to evaluate any concerns pre-release
· Ensure releases comply with the all internal privacy standards and work with stakeholders to develop customized implementation guidelines for the division where needed
· Lead R&I incident response plans and processes, to include team readiness activities, training and reporting
· Review privacy compliance processes and identify and address gaps, propose new features, functionality, and reporting to drive improvements into the R&I Privacy Program
· 2-4 years' privacy review/impact assessment experience in technology
· A passion for deeply understanding customer needs, protecting customer rights and enabling the business
· Strong understanding of privacy policy, regulatory landscape, and privacy risk
· Ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies in order to identify and mitigate privacy risks
· Demonstrated project management excellence in medium-large scale projects
· Proven experience working with legal and regulatory affairs teams translating privacy requirements and regulations into actionable engineering plans
· Solid scorecard/reporting experience
· Attention to detail and willingness to dive into technical details
· Outstanding cross-group collaboration skills and proven ability to drive initiatives across organizations
· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
· IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) - preferred
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA a plus
· Minimum 5 years' project management/program management skills with proven ability execute difficult, complex project implementations
· Proven related financial services experience, risk & regulatory related experience highly desired
