Responsibilities:
  • Understand and follow corporate and business area policies related to Project Management initiation activities.
  • Own accountability for completing process and procedures in support of Project Management initiation and execution.
  • Coordinate with cross discipline team members (both business areas and IT departments) to ensure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues and risks.
  • Submit corporate and business area project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Prepare weekly, mid-month, and monthly status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Establish effective stakeholder communication plans and execute the plans.
  • Facilitate development of training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation of initiative.
  • Conduct post project evaluation identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Work with Affordable Lending business area and other Freddie Mac partners to manage project and change control processes to define, approve and roll out enhancements and to course correct based on lessons learned and market feedback.
  • Manage vendors tasked with delivering services in support of CreditSmart redesign or other project deliverables. This includes relationship management, conducting project management oversight of their execution to include issue and risk management, reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy, and authoring SOW's in support of contract extensions, when needed.
  • Define outreach and training, if necessary, for internal stakeholders in support of new/enhanced product.
  • Facilitate development of training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation of initiative.
