Job Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure candidate will provide O&M support for day-to-day activities, for the clients "Production", "Pre-Production", and "Post-Production" environments (~8 environments, ~200 servers), across multiple government hosted data centers, as well as support for an O&M Azure Cloud infrastructure. 
  • Resource will provide infrastructure support during core business hours (team staggered coverage between 7am-8pm EST), with occasional scheduled evening or weekend maintenance, emergency or On-Call support.
  • Role will involve interacting with the client providing status, as well as able to make recommendations as needed.
  • Create/update documentation, system/network diagrams and deliverables, and effectively communicate issues and resolution steps as needed.
  • Will work closely with internal teams (O&M development, security, data, testing/QC, configuration management) as well as various POCs.
  • Candidate will participate in providing recommendations for physical or virtual server analysis and designs, as well as building, developing, deploying, upgrading, patching and maintaining the like. Additionally, will provide support for a technology stack that includes, but is not limited to, Azure Cloud, Windows Server 2012 R2, and 2008 R2, RHEL 6.8, Java 8, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, IIS, .NET custom applications with elements of ASP.NET, C#/C++, Visual Basic and Javascript, understanding of IIS and SQL Server. Prior experience and knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud (i.e. AWS Cloud), and or Cloud based security, networking configuration, Active Directory, ASP.NET, C++, C#, Visual Basic, OOP, Enterprise Architecture design patterns, Javascript, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Atlasian Confluence, and Redis Cache a plus.  Automation / Scripting ability desirable – (i.e. PowerShell, SQL queries).
  • Resource shall assist in IIS configuration/support, internal account management, system analysis, monitoring experience preferably with "Splunk” a plus.
  • Resource shall perform troubleshooting with log files, queries, and using event viewer. 
  • Will work closely with internal/client security and network teams to define and enforce firewall rules and permissions.
Understand security scans and experience addressing vulnerabilities and executing remediation steps.
