Cox Talent Acquisition (CTA) is responsible for providing best-in-class talent acquisition consultation and recruiting service delivery in a shared services organization spanning all Cox companies.  CTA operates in a matrix-style environment where autonomy, collaboration, and agility are vital to our success.   Each member of our team has the responsibility and opportunity to influence CTA strategies, innovate improvements in our function, and drive exceptional experiences across our customer groups.
 
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator drives a best-in-class TA experience by coordinating the administrative activities of the requisition delivery and candidate management to optimize service delivery.  As an essential contributor in our high-performing team, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is also responsible for the successful operation of the logistics management function and, therefore, impacts the success of the CTA team as a whole.
 
Duties and responsibilities
Client & Strategy
Drive day-to-day TA logistics operations in alignment with service delivery metrics, methodologies, and processes to achieve CTA goals:
1. Counsel CTA team and internal partners on technical/procedural questions and innovative practices as their day-to-day logistics management subject matter expert
2. Serve as a liaison to candidates and hiring managers by building effective relationships and employing effective communication mechanisms/routines designed to maximize information exchange
3. Manage the end-to-end logistics throughout the requisition lifecycle, including but not limited to:
 
1) executing all TA administrative processes as needed;
2) coordinating with candidates and hiring managers as needed;
3) administrating candidate assessments as needed;
4) booking/assisting with candidate travel as needed;
5) initiating, conducting, and managing pre-employment screening as needed;
6) preparing new hire for first day activities;
7) assisting and/or leading compliance reporting and document management
8). Balance the customization of individual logistics solutions with the alignment of TA vision and the adherence to consistent CTA practices
9). Embed relevant talent management practices, compliance requirements, and diversity & inclusion strategies within logistics management activities
 
TEAM LEADERSHIP
Serve as a member of the CTA team by role modeling the vision of the team, the values of the company, and the focus on CTA's best-in-class status:
 
1. Act as a day-to-day liaison with CTA Leadership, Requisition Delivery, Candidate Management, and Pipeline Management to ensure continuous alignment between Logistics Management and overall TA strategies and processes
2. Collaborate across Service Delivery to:
1) seamlessly deliver exceptional hiring manager and candidate experiences;
2) support functions as needed (e.g., posting open positions, extending offers, managing applicant tracking requirements, etc.);
3) maintain accurate and timely documents pertinent to the recruiting process
3. Actively enhance skills and abilities within logistics management by developing an understanding of business unit talent strategies/culture and understanding TA strengths and challenges in assigned areas
4. Utilize available tools and resources to enhance logistics management throughout the requisition lifecycle
5. Drive operational improvements and team engagement through transparency, ownership, and collaboration
6. Network with internally and externally to stay abreast of trending and best practices
 
Minimum
1. HS diploma or GED required
2. Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience required
3. Previous experience working in a Corporate Human Resources department preferred
4. Experience working with an Applicant Tracking and Talent Management System (e.g. PeopleSoft, Taleo) strongly desired
5. Ability to provide exceptional, consistent customer service to internal and external clients
6. Strong responsiveness and sense of urgency
7. Self-directed problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success
8. Solid computer skills, including experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
9. Strong attention to detail
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, professionally, efficiently and follow through on multiple work initiatives at one time
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills
