Job description:

Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves complex problems with business applications, networking and hardware in person or by using remote access software. Accurately documents all work in appropriate problem tracking software.
Installs, configures, and tests upgraded and new business computers and applications based on user-defined requirements.
Responsible for the intra-office movement of computer hardware for sales and marketing personnel (i.e., the movement of laptops, desktops, monitors, printers and other peripheral equipment such as cables and performing cable hook-ups).
Assists users in identifying hardware/software needs and provides advice regarding current options, policies and procedures.
Providing tier-1 and tier-2 technical support for desktops, laptops, phones, printers, and other IT-related devices and software
Triaging between different teams to troubleshoot various kinds of financial software
Deployment of virtual desktops throughout the firm
Fulfillment of hardware requests as needed
Imaging of various types of machines for deployment
Miscellaneous duties assigned by management
Purchasing and procuring software
Windows Updates
Departmental moves
Creating accounts, granting access for new hires, mvz
Updates to VDI infrastructure
Management of VDI infrastructure
Maintaining inventory of hardware and software
Packaging and deploying applications
Managing, upgrading, and installation of TV equipment
