Job description:

A. Must Skills:
a. Experience in Test Environment, Release and Configuration Management
b. Should have clear understanding of SDLC, including Agile methodology and DevOps
c. Strong experience in Windows/Unix/Linux/Mainframe and middleware (WebSphere, WebLogic, MQ/CIM etc.) technologies
d. Extensive knowledge in release and project management tools – Jira, Microsoft project.
e. Experienced in service management and ITIL framework
f. Experience in working directly with Technical Leads, Project Managers and Business Analysts in business and IT organization
g. Experience with Principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of the Test Environments - PVCS, Arefactory, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence
h. Strong knowledge of Application Servers, Web Servers, DB Servers
i. Should have ability to triage scope gap challenges
j. Should have ability to review business and technical documentation and identify any misalignments or future challenges
k. Excellent communication skills
l. Strong attention to detail a must

E. Detailed job responsibilities:
a. Responsible for creating and managing a master release plan spanning all work streams in GI Transformation Program working with Release managers, Test managers and Technical project managers
b. Co-ordinate with various functions across multiple technology areas to enable GI Transformation delivery through change scheduling – Infrastructure, Integration, Test data management, Project managers and Development teams
c. Responsible for managing and maintaining the release calendar
d. Release and Change schedule conflict resolution
e. Develop and implement a change conflict escalation process to ensure the highest priority changes are given preference.
f. Manage the governance, reporting and tracking of changes – particularly the schedule effectiveness and collision avoidance
g. Track, monitor and report on progress of change delivery outcomes
h. Maintain Test Environment change and release strategy and framework to ensure maximum delivery of scope possible within constraints of change window availability
i. Report change management effectiveness status with progress and Issues (Weekly/Fortnightly/Monthly)
j. Provide metrics and status updates for organization reporting
