· Project Management Services in support of the SPAWAR Shore Telephony Enterprise efforts to deliver SIP Transformation from their existing TDM trunk environment.
· Services consist of Project Management for the SPAWAR Shore Telephony mission imperatives including managing the TDM trunk elimination initiative and supporting the Navy transition from TDM to SIP services in their effort to evolve into a Unified Communications environment.
· The Project Manager will document project plans and POAMs, and help establish operational timelines to satisfy government requirements.
· Provide contiguous Project Management support to all Navy locations interfacing with SPAWAR,
· NCTAMS, NCTS, and Base Communications Offices to ensure project milestones and actions plans are met.
· PM to be in the greater San Diego area
· Must understand Avaya PBX environment including Dial Plans, Trunks groups, Class of Restrictions, Automatic Route Selection, and other relevant routing and trunking elements
· Must have experience with fundamentals of Front Ending a PBX with a router to convert TDM trunks from a PBX to a SIP trunk.
· Must have experience supporting Telecommunication Managed Network Services, Voice Services, MPLS, and VoIP TS projects including number porting and LOA creation.
· Must be experienced in dealing with complex multi-site DOD and preferably Navy projects involving multiple commands and understand how to take project effecting direction from only defined key Navy leads and redirect changes needed by non-key leads to the identified key Navy personnel.
· Must understand TDM and IP data and voice environments to help direct conversations and ensure project milestones and plans are progressing as needed.
· Provide updated network design documentation.
