Intermediate Network System Administrator (USACRC)

Government will prefer candidates who are local to Alabama (Fort Rucker Area), have military experience, worked in a military base, or have medical background
Required Skills/Experience:
· At minimum, must have 5-7 of experience in a Network Systems Administrator role
· Prior experience working inside United States Army Combat Readiness Centers (USACRC)
· Must have experience providing Network Operations Center Support (NOC)
· Prior experience supporting Army Safety Occupational Health Enterprise Information Management System (ASOHEIMS) and/or Armey Safety Information Management System-Revised (ASMIS-R)
· Must have experience providing comprehensive, integrated, end-to-end IT services that include network and switch operations; systems administration, integration and testing; hardware and software configuration management; infrastructure management; network administration; fielding hardware and software; quality control; support for installs, moves, adds, and changes; information and network security services; and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) support
· Must have experience providing 24x7x365 on-call support
· Experience providing daily Operations and Maintenance (O&M) sustainment of networks which includes:
o Migration of all enclaves (Dev, Test, and Production) to a Cloud Solution
o Setup and maintain large number of servers for Development, Pre-Production testing, Production (NIPRNET), Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) related activities
o Maintaining routers, IDS/IPS, Switches, Storage Arrays, Load Balancers,
o Maintaining configurations consistent with DoD and Army Regulations
o Providing lifecycle replacement support
Experience with Technologies and Tools:
· SolarWinds, NIPRNET, SIPRNET, AVID Unity Array Systems, Client Data Protector Software, Patches/Security on Hardware/Software Updates, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Network Area Storage (NAS), Microsoft products (e.g., Active Directory, Failover Cluster Services, Hyper-V, SharePoint, Exchange, SQL Server, Internet Information Services, Windows 7/XP/ Vista).
Personnel will be responsible for the following task, therefore he/she MUST HAVE demonstrated experience in these (similar) tasks:
· Maintain Server Operating System (OS) with features and capabilities including:
- Production maintenance shall be performed during approved maintenance windows.
- Windows Server 2012 R2 - Installation and configuration of NEW server systems
- Password Management
- Microsoft Hyper-V / Citrix - Installation and configuration of virtual hosts
- Configuring load balanced host configuration
- Active Directory Services
- Cleanup of policy and OU structure - Group Policy Object (GPO)
- Creation of new policy and OU objects
- Maintain Server Hardware (hard drive lifecycle, hard drive failure replacement, etc.)
- Support of Data Center Cloud Migration.
- Assist in project management oversight and transition of network operation services to the chosen cloud solutions provider
- Transition USACRC servers and application services to the cloud - Install and configure servers/services in the cloud
· Begin preparing server infrastructure and planning for migration to Windows 2016
- Identify equipment purchases required to support Windows 2016 Operating System
- Work with external vendors to build, scope, receive and install any required hardware or equipment
- Develop detailed plan for migrating from Windows 2012 R2 to Windows 2016
- Identify potential application and software issues that may arise during and after the migration
- Coordinate with application sustainment and development team for application migration to new systems
Work with Force Risk Reduction (FR2) administrators in assisting them with migration planning and execution
