JOB DESCRIPTION 
HR Immigration Contractor Role Description 
The HR Immigration Contractor is responsible for reviewing work authorization data of Capgemini employees to ensure compliance with U.S. government (USCIS and DOL) regulations. Tracking case status data in real time and analyzing reports is an important aspect of this position to monitor the compliance standards and communicate next steps to all stakeholders. This department is responsible to utilize the report data and determine if extensions/amendments are required of current foreign national staff. This department also maintains and regularly reviews government required public access files for completeness and accuracy. 
This role works closely with internal and external legal counsel to be kept informed of government compliance requirements and collect the data necessary to file non-immigrant petitions. Regular communication is required with foreign nationals staffed at the company to remind them of the requirements and gather information to both extend and amend their petitions as necessary. Collaboration with management and HR contacts is required to collect and clarify job role details for the petitions. 
Required skills and experience: 
o Bachelor's degree 
o Strong proficiency skills in MS Office 2013 (particularly Outlook, Excel) 
o Experience working with confidential data and understanding nature of privacy and protecting confidential information 
o Clear written and oral English communication skills 
o Detail-oriented both in reviewing written detail in email communication and personnel forms 
o Organizational skills 
 Strict attention to deadlines 
 Ability to prioritize tasks and jump on urgent operational items that arise (could be daily, weekly, or monthly) 
o Sense of urgency to respond to all contacts (internal team members as well as legal teams, HR, employees, and managers) 
o Experience working in a small team atmosphere; ability and willingness to work cooperatively with various team dynamics 

• Experience with the following a plus, but not required: 
o HRIS applications (SAP HRIS a plus) 
o Reviewing and auditing I-9s 
o Working with non-immigrant petitions 
o FedEx packages 

• Work authorization required: Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen. We cannot employ non-resident aliens in our immigration positions.
