General Summary 
This role provides support to a core team as well as to internal and external clients. The work schedule is part-time contractor, 30 hours per week, pending event schedule. 
Essential Job Functions 
- Reception coverage. Greets visitors, notifies and directs them to appropriate individual. 
- Assists with event logistics (hotel booking, rentals, ordering/procuring supplies) 
- Performs errands during events as needed; purchasing supplies, books, other necessary items to support ASE events and the Center. 
- Assists with repositioning of mobile furniture (on wheels) for preparation of events. 
- Requires bending, stooping and lifting and/or moving items up to 20 lbs. 
- Assists with routine center maintenance and improvement projects. 
- Communicates with team members in other Centers to fulfill ad hoc requests. 
- Prepares packages and shipments for delivery. Tracks all shipments. 
- Assists the Center Manager with mobile event capability. 
- Some early mornings, as early as 6:30am, and late evenings, as late as 8:00pm.

- Reliable, punctual attendance is essential to this position. 
- Some experience with troubleshooting basic technology issues, i.e., printer jams, changing paper and toner cartridges. 
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. 
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop a plus. 
- Good written and communication skills. 
- Event/meeting planning experience a plus. 
- Experience working in a fast-paced, "real-time” environment. 
- Self-starter with the ability to complete projects and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
