Job Description:
The Analyst is functionally competent and working towards functional expertise in analyzing and evaluating present and proposed procedures and data to design business aligned solutions to needs.
Acts as liaison to obtain, document and translate detailed specifications for specific output information requirements for the Pega technology platform.
Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes.
Consults with business unit management and personnel to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security.
Effectively communicates the feasibility of requested deliverables and timelines to the Manager, internal Business, and Project Stakeholders.
Builds proficiency in the application and use of tools within the department, this includes but not limited to Pega CRM, Oracle Database, ETL tools, API Specifications, Web Services, and CTI.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the business community, vendors, customers, and coworkers. Gathers, analyzes and reports business data and inputs in order to identify issues, trends, or solutions.
Works on small to large projects within the Pega CRM technology platform, often partnered with a senior level resource.
Provides technical assistance in identifying, analyzing, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures
BA in Business or BS required. 2 or more years of Analyst experience required.

Experience in technical and business writing. Basic understanding of SDLC.

    1. Collaborates with business/operations/organizational stake holders to elicit, refine and clarify the underlying business need for Technology teams
    2. Applies critical judgment to ensure solution(s) effectiveness
    3. Should be able to collect and analyze data from multiple sources
    4. Working through various phases of development from planning, analysis, design, development , testing and implementation
    5. Able to work on multiple projects/platforms at the same time supporting multiple teams
  2. What will the contractor actually be working on?
    1. Various projects/systems from a web based call center application to other Maintenance Tools/Client data setups for various stake holders
  3. What specific skillsets/technologies are absolutely required to be successful in this role?
    1. Experience in customer service such as responding to customer or client requests
    2. Software Development Life Cycle experience in multiple development methodologies like waterfall , agile etc.
    3. Experience in Call Center applications , web design ,maintenance and customer interactions
    4. Data Management and Query experience on relational Databases
    5. Relies less on direct supervision, more independent and knows where to go for information sources

    1. Idea of Pega technology
    2. Knowledge of web application architecture
    3. Good team player!
  5. Describe the team and work environment.
    1. The person will be working in a Journey team concept! The team is dedicated to a particular business domain, will be self –sufficient for an implementation and sits in the same vicinity! One Technical Analyst can support multiple journey teams.
    2. The person is expected to be onsite with the rest of the team at all times except for critical exceptions
