Job description:
Duties: Defines the problems and analyzes and develops plans and requirements in the subject matter area for moderately complex-to-complex systems. Coordinates and manages the preparation of analysis, evaluations, and recommendations for proper implementation of programs and systems specifications including, but not limited to: information technology, health care, education, public safety, social services, human resources, transportation, and environment.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
A Master's Degree is preferred.
General Experience: Must have seven (7) years of experience in the IT field.
Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years of combined new and related older technical experience in the IT field directly related to the required area of expertise.

• Responsible for the development and documentation of test scenarios, cases, scripts, execution of tests, and logging of results.
• Coordinate test planning and execution activities for all test types and ensure testing is conducted per the test plan
• Act as a primary liaison between Business Owners, Stakeholders, Legal and Technology on matters pertaining to UAT
• Assisting in defining and managing test data and working with technical support personnel responsible for environment maintenance and support
• Identifying testable, non-testable, front end, middle layer, database requirements for testing
• Work closely with Business Stakeholders to understand the requirements, behavior of the system and accordingly write the test plan, test cases to complete test coverage
• Create initial RTM and ensure and update the Test tracking tool (Quality Center)
• Recognize Issues/Problems/defects ahead of time and Issues tracking tool and escalating high priority defects or changes
• Identifying, addressing and assigning severity and/or priority for defects and changes
• Reviewing testing results and work products for completion and Obtaining final sign-off for tests as required
• Identifying and resolving priority conflicts that impact testing tasks
• Act as the "go to” resource for manual and automated scenario and case/script development and in the use of the automated tools for key users and business resources involved in test planning and execution
• Designing and maintaining the technical and functional structure of the automated testing tools (if applicable) and Maintaining library of scenarios and cases/scripts (manual or automated)
• Executing tests as required and compiling test results and statistics
• Communicating testing discrepancies and facilitating closure in a timely manner
• Serve as an internal Subject Matter Expert on end-user workflow and system usability
• Conducting and attending life-cycle peer reviews and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR)
• Supports the roll-out of new functionality by participating in end-user design/validation sessions, integrated testing and command center support.
