Responsibilities
The Project Manager for Sales, Research & Technology is responsible for managing the day to day operational activities and support for a Research internal proprietary application.
· Work closely with our business partners to understand their business and system problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements.
· Independently research, analyze, identify, and document the tasks to achieve the project goals.
· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
· Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
· Ensure resource availability and allocation
· Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
· Report and escalate to management as needed
· Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
· Perform risk management to minimize project risks
· Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
· Manage BI Analytics design with development, testing and rollout approach for various business integration opportunities
· Develop complex, Interactive/Dynamic Dashboards with Tableau, Domo and other BI tools
· Create Reusable templates and framework that can be used to support self-serve reporting and dash boarding with the enterprise BI tools
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or
· Engineering (or equivalent relevant work experience).
· 5 + years of progressive experience in systems analysis & development, support with business systems
· Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
· Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
· Excellent client-facing and communication skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Experience in data analysis, modeling, and design
· Experience in BI Analytics tool, ideally Tableau and Domo
· Proficiency in building and designing dashboards
Desired Characteristics
· Experience in US Media & Entertainment environment preferred
· Experience research data, specifically Nielsen data a plus
· Experience with Agile Software Development
· Highly competent in project and program management, budgeting, scheduling, and task estimation
· Excellent team leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
· Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with all stake holders (business and IT)
