 Job Description:
The BMC Technical Consultant will work closely with Client stakeholders, functional teams and developers. The position will be involved in all aspects of solution delivery including design documentation, prototyping/development, testing and implementation of custom objects. Role is focused on maintenance, enhancement and development of BMC BPPM (ProactiveNet) solutions with the intent to enhance the existing v9.6 solution. The contractor is responsible for building and applying functional, technical and strategic knowledge/skills to analyze, develop and present alternative design options to project leadership.
Responsibilities include:
• Analyze, design, and test enhancements to BMC BPPM (ProactiveNet).
• Work with clients and implementation team to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
• Design and document solutions based on functional standards.
• Participate in structured peer reviews / walkthroughs.
• Execute all required process steps as defined in our methodologies.
• Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status.
• Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems.
• Continuously develop industry knowledge and associated skills.
• Identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the relevant applications.
• Work with Client, Client, and Teaming Partner team members and executives on and across the project team.    
Technical Skills:
• 2+ years of experience in BMC BPPM (ProactiveNet) v9.6
• Experience in deployment of sustainable alerting methodologies across a complex landscape.
• Experience with implementing BPPM KMs.
• Security+ Certification
• Interim Secret Security Clearance or greater
• 8 years of Technical Administration
• Must be an effective communicator.
• Must submit to Government background investigation
Years/Level of Experience: 2 yrs.
Education Level: Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related area.
