Schedule:
·         1st – 4x10 – 0500-30p – MO-TH
·         2nd - 4x10 – 330p -0200a – MO-TH
·         w/e 3x12 -  0600a – 630p FR, SA, SU
 
Summary
Must be able to understand information on traveler. Check for any deviations, loads part feeders into proper locations of machine. Sets up equipment for screen printing process and operates machine. Observes boards as they are processed through SMT equipment and may make adjustments to parts to ensure boards meet Harris and or customers established specifications.   Looking for people with at least one year experience with the following SMT equipment - Fuji XPF, Fuji CP, and Universal SMT equipment.  (Not necessary that they have been exposed to all of the equipment.  The more exposure the better)
 
Duties
·         Selects proper programs for productions runs.
·         Performs feeder replenishment during SMT runs.
·         Performs line change-overs between production runs.
·         Loads reels onto machine in assigned location.
·         Sets and verifies that width of conveyor and support pins are set, to properly transport boards through the operation.
·         Places PCB's in screen printer.
·         Performs first piece quality check to ensure Standards are met. May make adjustments to equipment to correct any deviations and runs job.
·         Check boards prior to reflow oven operation to ensure parts are properly set and they meet Quality Assurance Standards. May stop equipment during production run to make periodic adjusts to parts being added to boards.
·         Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
·         Follows all safety rules and performs other duties as required by supervisor.
 
General requirements:
·         Ability to work in a physical environment
·         Ability to stand for entire shift
·         Good mechanical aptitude
·         Nice to have – electronics background
 
Responsibility:
Responsible for completing all tasks related to the operation of SMT equipment.
 
Authority:
Takes necessary action to correct deviations, followings established Quality Assurance Procedures.
 
Problem Solving:
Based on experience, acquired skills and supervisor's approval the operator may take necessary action to correct problems as they occur.
