Responsibilities: Top level technical contributor with expertise in Information Technology cradle to grave processes related to applications and infrastructure.  Responsible for documenting existing operations and practices; analyzing those operations and practices against documented best practices and developing a plan of actions and milestones to evolve to the best practices. Acts as a member of a team responsible for providing technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems.
Education: BA/BS
Experience: • Must hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
Need Experience with:
• Provide DLA Task Management Tool (TMT) Taskers support
• Setting up meetings, running meetings, writing and distributing meeting minutes
• Interviewing users
• Creating a plan, executing a plan, and adjusting the plan as necessary
• Manage Change Control, Issues escalation and resolution, Schedule, Costs, and Resources
• Manage keeping projects updated in a soft copy/hard copy format on a weekly basis
• Responsible for having most current project documents
• Ensure Clients are notified of all deployment dates
• Creates Project Status Reports
• Assigns tasks to resources and gathers information from the team when updates are made
• Reviews/manages project schedule updates
• Implement and maintain processes, procedures, plans and tools necessary to conduct PM activities
• Participates in/attends Configuration Control Working Group (CCWG)
• Process incidents and service request
• Ensure CCWG conducts impact assessments
• Ensure changes are implemented as approved
• Prepare agendas and minutes for the CCWG and coordinated meetings
• Identify attributes that define all aspects of configuration items
• Ensure configuration control is maintained for all approval stages
• Ensure configuration items are completed with the requirements of its detail and/or design documentation
• Record and report on configuration baselines associated with each item at any moment of time
• Participate in configuration control board meetings as deemed necessary
• Provide weekly status reports on Project/Configuration Management Support tasks
