Required: • 10+ years of demonstrated project management experience, including functional and technical experience, specific to OpenLink Endur application. • Previous project management experience successfully upgrading Endur to a recent version of the application (V14+). • In depth understanding of power /natural gas physical and financial trading (front to back office) and strong business knowledge of CAISO Energy Markets • Deep understanding of structured transactions (e.g., tolling contracts). • Provide best practice recommendations to technical lead. • Strong Project Financial Skills: Budgeting, Forecasting and Tracking of Actual Spent to low levels of Detail. • Strong Interpersonal Skills. • Experience working in PMO environment as Project Lead or Project Manager for highly complex projects. • Knowledge of workforce planning, analytics theories, concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques as needed to perform at the job level. • Skill in facilitating discussions and meetings as needed to perform at the job level. Desired: • Competency in interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products - for example Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access - as needed to perform at the job level. • Skill in negotiating between stakeholders to reach an agreement. • Competency in developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. • Competency in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. • Knowledge of risk and compliance assessment and management theories, concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques as needed to perform at the job level. • Ability to apply project management theories, concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques as needed to perform at the job level. • Competency in applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization goals.
This is an expert level IT project management position and requires 10+ years of in depth functional and technical Endur experience along with previous experience with Endur upgrades. Specific responsibilities of this position include: Gather, define and document project requirements. Clearly define and communicate roles, responsibilities and expectations to all members of the project team. Independently plan work to meet project goals and drive all project related tasks to completion. Establish Project Planning and Actual Orders and track Actuals Spent by Project Initiative and Operative Date. Develop metrics, procedures, objectives and methods to assess project progress while utilizing established standards and quality objectives. Record, track and communicate issues, risks, changes, and status reports within a PG&E's Project and Portfolio Management Center (PPMc) tool. Accurately and consistently forecast project resource, material and contract costs within PG&E's SAP PRJ tool. Develop and maintain up-to-date detailed project schedules and work plans. Monitor critical project milestones, and identify ways to resolve schedule issues. Assess project performance and implement changes as necessary to ensure the projects remain within specified cost, schedule, scope, and quality objectives. Communicate status of all projects to stakeholders and management. Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with project sponsors, vendors and key clients. Prepare all project documentation for closure and possible auditing activities. Develop and implement guidelines and process documentation.
Candidate MUST have upgrade experience with OpenLink Endur application.
