This is an excellent opportunity to join the world's largest social media network who enables over a billion users to openly connect with friends and family, share content, and explore the world.

Day-to-Day Outlook:
  • Gain understanding of how third party data ingestion works and coordinating with relevant Measurement & Signals PXFN appropriately. CW should understand when something falls within measurement scope, signals infra or signals product and triaging appropriately.
  • Triage LaMas and ensure inbound proposals are digestible for PXFN consult
  • 3-4 net new proposal consults per week per pillar; based off of current office hour inbound
  • Help "train" product teams on submitting proposals with all required information for PXFN to begin consultation. FTE PPMs can create a list of minimum requirements for CW to vet proposals with, and go back to product teams when more info is needed.
  • Reduce single points of failure
  • Developing expertise and eventually program managing data logging, operations and dashboarding horizontally.
  • 4-5 LaMas per week (eng estimate)
  • Horizontal approach across both Signals Product and Signals Infra instead of just focusing on one sub pillar. The reason for this is that logging requests are not necessarily 'business priorities' but are critical to maintaining our systems. This can be an area of development through various means to help non-technical people to ramp up on. PDT is certainly one of those ways and should be applied for standardization.
  • Current PPMs will define risks and set up foundational LaMas such that CW only has to execute and close/incorporate future gaps/deltas
  • CW is not expected to manage CSSR but will need to know when to activate CSSR, APT, and other review types. FTE PPMs will train CW on when these are required so they can create a reference checklist.
  • Scale knowledge and help FTE PPMs with operational efficiency across Signals pillars
  • (i.e. pulling metrics for Ops Syncs, LaMa status trackers, reporting, embellishing foundational LaMas)
  • Expected contract time: minimum 12+ months
  • 6 weeks of intensive onboarding, 3-6 months for learning new processes and build relationships, 6+months for execution
  • Identify opportunities to scale knowledge through appropriate means, i.e. a playbook, finding deltas in foundational lamas moving forward and accommodating them into their reviews. Take on documentation and maintain those processes with the product teams.
