MAX BILL rate : $25-30/hr
Location : One Jericho Plaza, Jericho, NY (Hybrid , potentially onsite a couple of times per month for meetings as needed, open to fully remote for the right candidate if needed)
Hours: Part Time – 16-24 hours per week, flexible (occasionally may be asked to do more hours if needed but would be planned in advance/not frequent) Mondays are the "heavy days”, reports created and sent for previous week, first 5 days of each month are "heavy” with reporting for previous month.

Job description:
Responsibilities :
  • Assist in building and maintaining KPI reports using a variety of data bases
  • Work with the business lines to evaluate and build reporting packages that meet their needs.
  • Create actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations utilizing tools to visualize and present data for Managers up through Executive Management.
  • Assist in the preparation of data source extracts for required technology platforms, such as workforce management tools, IVA technology and other resources
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
  • Working toward a bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Data Analytics or similar with a minimum 6 months' related work experience.
  • Knowledge of intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with technical documentation a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and presentation abilities
  • Ability to effectively communicate across teams
  • Discuss with staff, users and management to develop requirements to create new reports or revise existing reports
  • Flexibility to work across all functions/levels in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail.
  • Motivated individuals that are "self-starters”.

  • Assist with manager's responsibilities/reporting
  • Create reports for contact center and for executive management within Excel (80%) and PowerPoint (20%) – intermediate level with Excel at minimum. Please conduct Excel proficiency skills assessment and provide score/results.
  • Will be trained on how to get data, import, create reports and how to get them in slides. Slides are templates – wont have to be created from scratch. Maintain on a weekly/monthly basis. And Adhoc reports.
  • Will be a lot of downtime since reporting is not needed every day, there will be times where testing support is needed. Ex: change in automated system, will be asked to get account information, do some repeat testing and provide results. Nothing complicated, instructions will be given, but may be used for various tasks.
  • Ideal candidate would be a student who has availability around school schedule. Contract could be extended for up to 24 months possible.

Below are skills within each area/tool that an ideal candidate will know, please screen based on the below to ensure submittals have the required skillset:

Take existing data from a separate document and input it into Excel
Format cells – Use appropriate units, merge/unmerge cells, wrap text, uniform fonts, sizing and shading of cells
Sort and filter data – Sort data in ascending or descending order, set filters to extract certain data
Use shortcuts and formula functions - Use built-in formulas to calculate sum, average, VLOOKUP etc.
Build charts and graphs – bar chart, pie chart, combo charts
Create and manage pivot tables – Use pivot tables to group and reorder large data. Use slicers to filter and display data
Conditional formatting – create color coded trends & patterns. Heat mapping data

Use templates
Apply fonts and colors uniformly
Update data tables, transfer data from Excel to PPT
Insert various different types of charts
Format charts using PPT tools
Design slide layouts

Test various systems such as automated system for account information, listen and verify phone prompts, test applications using test scripts
Verify and document testing data and share with appropriate team members
Maintain test data for repeat testing
