Loan Servicer – Post Closing
Location : New Britain (436 Slater Rd) – 100% ONSITE
Hours: normal business hours
Interview process: 1 onsite

Candidates need to understand this is temp position, attention to detail, can do repetitive tasks, operationally focused.

Review loan documents Go through set of docs, systems, checklist, do follow up with closing agents, borrowers, branch liaisons, based on where the docs are coming from.
Ensures loan quality by reviewing conventional loan documentation for accuracy, enforceability and salability. Failure to perform in a timely and efficient manner may impact the quality of loan origination and relationships with investors.

* Process Loan Review documentation on closed loan files to ensure accuracy of documentation: Closing Disclosures, closing, compliance and legal documents;
* Prepare follow-up documentation, when required, to appropriate parties, attorneys and customers;
* Review and update follow-up documentation as it is received;
* Prepare, as required, custodial files for loan sales;
* Report problems that may impact conventional loan quality to manager;
* Maintain accurate records of outstanding documentation;
* Ensure all post-closing documentation is uploaded in appropriate files;
- Complete appropriate Review Checklist in accordance with procedure to ensure the complete required document set has been imaged, is accurate and completed;
- Follow up on outstanding documentation to ensure completion of loan exception by contacting attorneys, branch personnel, investors or borrowers as needed;
- Prepare, as required, any additional follow-up documentation required by investor for the purchase of loans;
- Report problems that may impact loan quality to manager;
- Maintain accurate records of outstanding documentation;
- Process, as required, Loan Deliveries to government agencies;
- Assist, as required, with special projects.

High School / GED required. Less than 2 years of general work experience (ie, office work, working with customers, work study jobs, etc.)
