Application Adminstrator/Kronos

FUNCTION:
Our Application Administrator will support our internal customers throughout the company by leading efforts in gathering requirements, creating specifications, coordinating communications, and developing partnerships between Business and IS which will meet the requirements of their unique business needs.

INTERACTION:
  • Reports to the Application Development Manager.
  • Extensive interaction with internal customers throughout the company, including store personnel and other corporate center departments.
  • Extensive interaction with the Director of Application Systems and other IS team members.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions):
  • Develop and foster collaborative and good working relationships with our business users.
  • Partner with our business users to analyze business needs and to develop requirements for different projects.
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of the business functions and various systems and applying that knowledge to support IS development and configuration.
  • Partner with the team to ensure that systems solutions selected or developed across the business units support the needs and goals of end users and stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Develop functional specifications based upon project requirements.
  • Review, analyze, develop solutions, and evaluate opportunities to enhance current data systems, technologies, and models for the business units
  • Supporting role in:
  • Participate in conducting analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, system enhancement, or solution procurement
  • Assist with developing customer documentation and training materials.
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining existing systems and resolve problems when they arise.
  • Assist with developing and managing the test script library to test software for compliance within functional and technical specifications.
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements, standards, and procedures for IS department and customers.
  • Management of system patch and release management for cloud-based applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two or more years of business process experience is required.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills with fluency in English.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Functional knowledge and experience with Kronos Workforce is preferred, but not required.
  • Functional knowledge and experience with Oracle HCM modules (HCM, HR, Payroll, Recruiting) is preferred, but not required.
