LATAM Program Manager Role
 
Our client has a goal of bringing more people online and to a faster internet. To achieve this mission, ******** built a set of products & programs and works/partners with telecom operators and device manufacturers across the world. https://connectivity.fb.com/
 
Mobile Connectivity Partnerships team brings those programs into the market in different regions. The team has three major functions:
 
  • Strategic Partner Managers who act as account managers and are responsible for everything related to particular partners/telecom operator
  • Data Science / Partner Strategist team that offer analytical consulting support for analytics tools we provide to partners
  • Program Management function that builds scalable frameworks and methodologies for the programs and bridges the gap between partner managers and XFN/product teams
 
The Program Manager role sits within the Program Management function and reports to Regional Program Manager. The role will cover the LATAM region and will manage the operators primarily in the region. (will require flexibility on travel)
 
The main programs program manager will initially work on are the followings:  
Scope of the Role:
  • Pre/post launch management support: When partner managers need to launch this program, they will need special support from the Program Manager. After the program launch, Program Manager will also help partner managers to do monthly check-ins to share the performance of the program with the partners.
  • Interface between the Product/XFN teams and LATAM Partnership: For any requests from product or XFN teams to the partner managers, the program manager will be the interface to communicate them to the partner managers. This isn’t just to be a messenger but to contextualize the information for the LATAM partners and make it actionable for partner managers. Also, for any partner insights, requests or escalations from partner managers to the internal product or XFN teams, the program manager will bring them to the relevant teams to share insights and troubleshoot issues.
  • Build & Manage Scalable Systems for Programs: The program manager will lead building and managing scalable systems for each program to track the progress and identify opportunities/risks proactively.
  • Thought Partner for Partner Strategy: As we manage multiple programs with partners, the program manager will be a thought partner for partner managers to shape the partner strategy with a holistic point of view across all programs.
