Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:30PM CST
Pay: $17.99-$19.00/hour paid every Friday
Contract Length: 09/08/2020 to 12/31/2020 (extension and permanent placement based on attendance and performance)

Overview:
  • The purpose of the position is to process agent state appointment renewals and/or state appointment terminations in accord with state DOI regulations, prepare journals to recoup state appointment renewal fees and performs necessary follow up to ensure the fees have been recouped in a timely manner and to ensure that all departmental invoices from third part vendors are paid in a timely fashion.
  • Responsibilities also include producing Vector One file, handling LIMRA issues, maintaining CSO agency and HOST licenses renewals.
Duties:
  • Plan renewal tasks to ensure that the term/renewal process is in compliance with state processing guidelines
  • Ensure that all third-party vendor invoices are paid in a timely manner avoiding late fees and penalties
  • Prepare journals for renew fee recouping and work with commissions to ensure journals processed
  • Work with staff members to help resolve any AML/LIMRA issues
  • Prepare and upload Vector One file for new agents
  • Ensure that CSO agency and Host agents licenses are renewed
  • Interact with other departments regarding agent fees, invoice payment, etc
  • Provide status updates to management.
  • Assist with special projects as directed.
     
Skills:
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations or accounting processing functions
  • Proficient in use of PC based systems used: Microsoft Office, LifePRO, On Base, Excel, and Access
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Good working knowledge of department policies and procedures
  • Effective problem solver. 
  • Effective customer service skills.
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Access DB and/or SQL query training
