Sales (IC) Lead Associate

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm with opportunities to work events within the evening and/or weekends as needed to drive sales

Pay: $800/week paid every Friday
Contract Length: 08/17/2020 to 12/18/2020 (extension and permanent placement based on attendance and performance)

  • Responsible for selling Medicare products and services.
  • May make sales presentations to potential qualified Medicare participants at their homes, doctors' offices, etc. using approved governmental guidelines.
  • Initiates sales opportunities with seniors – individually or in groups – to sell individual Medicare Advantage plans.
  • Makes on-site presentations to prospective seniors or senior groups to increase enrollment.
  • Qualifies prospects on site per CMS Regulations and closes sale if possible.
  • Develops sales opportunities with Medicare and Medicare- /Medicaid-eligible individuals by means of personal referrals and business partner referrals as well as from leads generated through direct mail, TV advertising, and provider marketing.
  • Delivers the approved *** Medicare Advantage presentation to both personally developed referral appointments and to *** furnished pre-set appointments in a home setting or at scheduled seminars.
  • Also responsible for generating own leads.
  • Completes and submits enrollment forms for closed sales.
  • Responsible for tracking sales calls and results through electronic CRM system.
  • Communicates information accurately and timely to customers.
  • Attends all planned sales meetings and department meetings. Conducts all sales appropriately, following CMS regulations and Corporate guidelines
Commission Structure:
  • $100 per MAPD sale upon enrollment. 
  • $25 per enrollment for all enrollments lasting beyond a 3 month disenrollment window (Rapid Disenrollment Period) 
  • $125 total maximum paid for each MAPD enrollment (if not a rapid disenrollment)
  • Car and valid driver's license required (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Insurance License: Must have producer's insurance license for South Carolina and/or North Carolina 
  • Good individual and group presentation skills. 
  • Self-motivated to generate and follow up on leads. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. 
  • Computer skills, CRM competency
  • Preferred candidate(s) will have outside sales experience with Medicare Advantage 
  • Minimum: High School diploma or GED. At least two years' selling experience sales based on formal sales skills training.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree and Outside Sales Experience.
