Patient Resource Specialist I

Location of Assignment:South San Francisco, CA 94080
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift scheduled between 5am-5pm, 40 hours per week with potential for OT.
Contract Length: 6 months (W2), potential for extension pending performance

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assumes full accountability and responsibility for completing a variety of activities/tasks in support of the product portfolio.
  • Outstanding customer service skills (including ability to handle high volume of escalated situations from various parts of the organization)
  • Attention to detail, strong multi-tasking ability, organizational skills, effective time management, and accuracy of data entry
  • Strong independent decision making, and problem-solving skills utilized to find creative solutions to unexpected situations and problems
 
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
  • Works with supervisor and other team members to review/learn company strategies and goals, as well as departmental goals, strategies and KPIs (key performance indicators) relevant to his/her team.
  • Works with supervisor and other team members to review all relevant strategies, goals and KPIs to determine any implications/impacts to existing Patient Resource Center processes, procedures, systems, tools, resources, etc. Proactively recommends any areas for improvement/streamlining/alignment and takes the lead on updating the Patient Resource Center SOP.
  • Offers recommendations regarding PRC planning & development activities that will ensure appropriate and targeted alignment to all relevant business strategies, goals, objectives and other targets.
  • May support supervisor and/or other team members in coordinating and/or participating in various internal planning meetings.
  • May support supervisor and/or other team members in various other PRC planning/development activities, such as participating in, or driving the development of new training programs.   
  • Undertakes, where assigned, specific projects that will enable the PRC team to best meet its goals, objectives and other targets.

  • Aligns with US Drug Safety partners and affiliates and is responsible for adhering to the Global Safety Directive, SOPs, and Working Documents. 
  • Required to identify quality and compliance gaps. 
 
EDUCATION:
  • BA or BS degree required.
  • Experience preferred.
  • Must have strong customer service skills.
