Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM but flexible. OT upon request

Pay: $20.00-$24.00/hour paid every Friday  (unknown until first submission)
Contract Length: 07/06/2020 to 09/25/2020 (extension and permanent placement based on attendance and performance)

Duties:
  • Provides advanced professional input to complex Provider Data assignments/projects.
  • Oversees the maintenance of the provider network database and reporting function for the provider network area, initiates database improvement efforts, and represents the provider network area on company IT projects.
  • Develops and maintains standards for database integrity, coordinates corrective activities to clean database and retain users, and manages communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements.
  • Designs report formats and produces reports for internal customers.
  • May manage department projects and/or processes. Supports and provides direction to more junior professionals.
  • Works autonomously, only requiring “expert” level technical support from others.
  • Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.
  • Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Provider Data.
Skills:
  • The incumbent should have an extensive background working with large-scale and small-scale rosters, data analysis, manipulation and formatting.
  • This individual should also work well on an individual basis as well as in a group setting and provide feedback to management and leadership teams with regard to inventory intake, processes and output.
Education:
  • High School diploma
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; previous experience in Medicare; extensive data analysis, prep, manipulation and formatting background; at least 3 or more years of working knowledge with proficiency in the healthcare insurance industry.
