Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Voluntary Claims Team. They will assist our Claims Analysts by quickly and accurately sorting different mail media (i.e. faxes, email, and physical mail) with the goal of identifying new claim submissions and additional information for existing claims.

Job Duties:
  • Navigate between multiple platforms simultaneously in order to properly route incoming correspondence
  • Organize all received correspondence quickly and correctly
  • Handle internal and external correspondence containing sensitive information
  • Work simultaneously with other administrative assistants and intake teams virtually
  • Be able to identify the various Voluntary Benefits (AI/CI/HC/Wellness Screenings) and assign claims to appropriate claim managers
  • Baseline ability to review a contract to identify correct policy number and benefits
  • Ability to create new claims in platform
  • Compose correspondence to claimants within compliance guidelines
  • Maintain record of claims not able to be entered into the platform
  • Meet all Compliance regulations within established time frames
  • Ability to multi-task and seamlessly transition between the different mailboxes throughout the day
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Policy and Procedure manual, *** Group Operations and Corporate Compliance Policies, privacy guidelines and best practice procedures and continues to keep current with updates and changes to those requirements.
  • Complies with all ongoing training associated with role and business needs
  • Demonstrates solid planning and organizational skills with the ability to address short and long term goals while prioritizing and addressing ongoing issues
  • Supports customer centricity by proactively identifying customer needs and creating innovative solutions to meet customer challenges. Looks for new ways to accomplish objectives and takes extra steps to deliver customer service that meets and exceeds expectations.

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 / hour
Start: 02/03/2020 - with extension and full time hire opportunity!
