POSITION SUMMARY
This position evaluates, researches and resolves a multitude of incoming requirements to ensure they are promptly received or accepted to a pending new business case or set up as a requirements only case. In addition, this position facilitates underwriting and administrative correspondence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
75% 1. Records the receipt of underwriting and administrative correspondence in production system (Vista). All incoming information must be matched to the correct client. Ensures client is correct by checking various information (e.g., date of birth, social security number).
  1. Utilizes WeGo and Vista Referrals to evaluate incoming work items to match and files correspondence into correct files.
  2. Receives and matches Underwriting medical mail, including medical records, lab results, exam information, and financial information.
  3. Orders Motor Vehicle Reports, and verifies client identify, utilizing third party vendor systems.
  4. Receives and matches Reinsurance requirements.
  5. Utilizes VISTA to perform requirement review, receiving/accepting of requirements and reminder referral set up
  6. Locates existing policy in Client Foundation System or Vista or creates new client records in Mainframe. Identifies outstanding requirements related to incoming documents and handled appropriately.
  7. Utilizes Life Image to re-index documents to the appropriate policy number and document type as it appears in imaging
  8. Routes service incoming WeGo items to the Life Policy Administration Department.
  9. Reviews and processes informal requests for life insurance.

10% 2. Processes incoming paper applications and group conversion applications in a timely and accurate manner.
  1. Data enters the application into Streamline to create new client records. Most commonly, name, address, date of birth, policy number, the product applied for, and advisor information.
  2. Identifies duplicates, firm relationship contact information and case assignments.

10% 3. Processes client communication for canceled files and lab requests using standardized templates. Enters correct name, address, and associates correct information from the client file.


5% 4. Performs related activities as directed, and manages personal self-development to prepare for new responsibilities and challenges in a changing environment.


REQUIRED SKILLS
  • 2+ years of experience performing data entry
  • Attention to detail to ensure high accuracy in data entry.
  • Prioritization and organization skills to effectively change tasks and manage priorities in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Understanding of administrative procedures related to application processing and records maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work with associates at all levels in the unit.
  • Proficiency in using current systems and programs (Vista, Client Database, Lotus Notes, Accurint) preferred but not required
