Customer Service Lead Representative
Location: Nashville, TN
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Pay: $18-$20 per hour
Start: 12/02/2019

Duties:

Technical expert with depth or breadth of knowledge within Customer Service. Responsible for investigating/resolving escalated and complex customer service issues/calls/complaints obtaining necessary information from policies, procedures, or practices. May serve as primary contact and liaison between one or more major customers, Health Plans, Service Centers, and/or functional areas. Determines best method to resolve problems ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. Must have thorough technical knowledge of assigned products and excellent communication skills. Provides guidance, coaching, and direction to more junior team members of the team. Acts independently working under limited supervision.

Skills:
- At least 1 year experience within the health insurance industry required
- Prior Medicare Advantage background preferred
- Excellent oral, written communication skills & critical thinking ability required
- Ability to track and manage case load effectively in call tracking system
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure related to tight time-frames
- Problem solving skills required
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and the ability to pick-up and work in multiple computer systems is required
- Customer-centric mindset
- Call center, Grievances or Appeals department experience preferred

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Some College preferred
