The Infrastructure Engineering team is seeking a Software Engineer for OpenBMC upstreaming effort. They need an expert that has already worked in upstreaming effort in open source.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, and test system management features in OpenBMC software stack.· Interface with Open Source community and upstream the code changes to community project.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong coding ability in C++ on Embedded Linux environment.·
• Experience in developing multi-threaded applications in Embedded Linux environment.·
• Experience working with open source community projects.·

DESIRED SKILLS

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills·
• Familiar with Linux kernel and device driver model·
• Familiar with scripting capability with python.·
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years relevant

NOT REQUIRED

• Mobile App development, web development, etc. experience.
