Title: IVVQ Engineer
Pay: $50 - $57.14 / hour Location: Melbourne, FL Duties: The Integration, Verification & Validation (IVVQ) Engineer is responsible for participating in planning and the efficient IVV execution for In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems, aircraft communication systems and supporting systems. He/she assures that the appropriate means and practices are applied to guarantee the adherence to defined requirements and quality standards with minimal wasted effort or inefficiencies. The IVVQ Engineer is responsible for contributing to the Test plan and reports, assuring that the scope of the IVV activities fully covers all aspects of the system under test. Technical skills: Scripting, Python or C/C++; Linux OS knowledge Domain knowledge: Satcom, FMS or other avionics equipment Iridium Satcom (arinc 771) ; Datalink (cmu, acars, afis, fans) Protocol: ARINC 429, ARINC 615A Certification: DO-178C Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or technology with 1-4 years’ experience 1-4 years of experience Responsible for contributing to the Estimation, Planning and Execution of IVV activities Can participate in Scrum Teams, upholds Agile values and principles. Knowledge of Unix /Linux/ Android systems Knowledge of Ethernet networks Use of common defect management and tools (JIRA, ClearQuest) Use of common requirements management and tools (JAMA) Experience with Agile and common tools (JIRA, VersionOne) Experience in an engineering integration, verification or validation team User Interfaces, Networking, SATCOM, and/or communication systems test experience Software and/or Hardware development design experience Experience in Test Automation | ||||
