Job Description:
The IT Finance team plays a key role in managing the Company's $65M+ Information Technology budget through financial analysis and close business partnership with the Enterprise IT and Restaurant Technology Teams in addition to the Accounting and FP&A teams. The Financial Analyst – IT Finance will report directly to the Manager – IT Finance. This role includes financial analysis / budgeting / forecasting responsibilities in addition to some accounting responsibilities and coordination with the Accounting team to ensure all IT spend is accounted for properly.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze key operational metrics and monthly financial results; partner with IT team to explain trends and variances from budget. Analysis results will be incorporated into the Technology Council financial reporting package and presented to Restaurant Technology and Enterprise IT teams.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries for IT Expenditure Accruals and Franchise Revenue; provide to Accounting to be recorded in the GL. Support the IT teams on a day to day basis by assisting with coding of invoices and purchase orders as needed, reconciling the fixed asset accounts and placing assets into service and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Support the Company's annual budget process by working closely with IT business partners to prepare budget inputs, including capex/depreciation, restaurant level IT expenditures, WeTech and G&A
  • Play a lead role in Continuous Improvement projects, which includes proactively identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline work and leverage technology wherever possible to reduce manual efforts.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, etc.
  • 3+ years' experience in financial analysis or accounting position with large organization
  • Customer service oriented, ability to multi-task effectively and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting principles and financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting techniques.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
