Seeking a Financial Analyst to support the sales and operations teams in Greensboro, NC! Team Responsibilities:
  • Support the Sales and Operations for the East region. The region consists of 6 Distribution Centers and 43% of Pharmaceutical Distributions Revenue.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting for the 6 Distribution Centers in the region.
  • Month End Close of Distribution operations for the East, including analysis of expense, creation of journal entries, preparation of month end summary and detail reporting for management.
  • Analysis of key business metrics related to productivity, transportation expense, customer compliance, customer rebates, SOX, and inventory control.
  • Directly interact with the sales team on the Deal Process including the development on proposed profitability models, tracking progression of deal through approval process, creation of customer PVA's (Prime Vendor Agreements) and establishing any related sales incentives.
Rotation Responsibilities:
  • Assigned a DC to learn AP reconciliation processes and work with Operations associates to learn process flow and document standard work. Complete 3rd party processing credits. Manage GA HB585 process for pharmacy returns and provide communication to Sales associates. Access to Distrack AS400 to learn credit processing and SOX approval thresholds. Assigned Operations rotations to learn front line processes and hands on Pick / Pack / Ship functions at a FDC.
  • Assigned a DC with the resposibility to handle all aspects of the field finance function. Payroll analysis, spend analysis, month end closing entries, variance analysis, develop relationship with Director of Operations to advocate for any issues.
  • Sales Customer Compliance. Assist the team in the creation of the monthly rebate trend analysis. Completed by revieiwing accounts that are ouside specified perameters to determine correctness of calculation. Also includes establishing random process to select a specified number of PVA's per month and walk the PVA to how the customer is set up in CCDB as well as determine if the rebate calculations are correct. Review COG's discrepancy reports.
  • SOX Process -- Be involved in the field formal and informal processes. Includes gathering requested documentation and reviewing against company policy to determine if process is within scope.
  • Sales Ops alignment & Deal Process -- Participate in the monthly Ops / Sales leadership meetings to learn how the process works. Work with Sales team to see how Sales and Finance interact with each other in the development of a customer proposal. Additionally, will learn the various options available to include in a deal, as well as when and why a specific option is chosen.
Schedule: Weekdays, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm (30 minute lunch), 40 hours per week
Pay: $22 per hour
Contract Length: 11-12 months, with possible extension or conversion
Start Date: July 29th
